Project “Annachi”

Problem

  • The digital process provided by the government is making it difficult for citizens who are not well-versed in technology.
  • Mandatory requirement of office visits to avail various services.
  • The process of lodging complaints, making payment of property tax, etc., isn’t easy.
  • Applying for new service from the civic body.
  • Lack of direct sources to communicate and make citizens aware of waste management, preservation of water, etc.

Solution

  • Introduced Annachi, which is a one-on-one conversation chatbot between citizens and the civic body.
  • Annachi lets citizens know their tax assessment numbers, ward numbers, card numbers, etc.
  • Citizens can easily pay their property tax using the chatbot by typing Hi!!
  • It is easy for citizens to avail of any corporation service and will receive regular updates on plastic ban etc.
  • Providing a solution that connects the citizens with their civic body.

Outcomes

  • Easier and much accessible 24/7 civic services are made available.
  • Frictional free transactional services on the go.
  • Regular updates and publicity related to the corporation are being pushed to the citizens through Annachi.
  • Better IEC and citizen engagement.
  • Personalized campaigning with better reach.
