Problem
- The digital process provided by the government is making it difficult for citizens who are not well-versed in technology.
- Mandatory requirement of office visits to avail various services.
- The process of lodging complaints, making payment of property tax, etc., isn’t easy.
- Applying for new service from the civic body.
- Lack of direct sources to communicate and make citizens aware of waste management, preservation of water, etc.
Solution
- Introduced Annachi, which is a one-on-one conversation chatbot between citizens and the civic body.
- Annachi lets citizens know their tax assessment numbers, ward numbers, card numbers, etc.
- Citizens can easily pay their property tax using the chatbot by typing Hi!!
- It is easy for citizens to avail of any corporation service and will receive regular updates on plastic ban etc.
- Providing a solution that connects the citizens with their civic body.
Outcomes
- Easier and much accessible 24/7 civic services are made available.
- Frictional free transactional services on the go.
- Regular updates and publicity related to the corporation are being pushed to the citizens through Annachi.
- Better IEC and citizen engagement.
- Personalized campaigning with better reach.
