Providing Gainful Employment

Problem

  • Addressing the unemployment crisis due to reverse migration.
  • Lack of skill set for available jobs at native places.
  • Difficulty in creating recruitment channels for employment post lockdown
  • Difficulty in collecting data of reverse migrants after losing jobs to pandemic
  • Conducting job fairs as per pandemic protocol and technical compatibility of registered candidates.

Solution

  • Organizing counseling sessions by installing facilitation and call centers. 
  • Market scan of local employment opportunities and skill requirement mapping of local industry.
  • Skill proofing of youth by obligating them at registration desks.
  • Organizing direct placement camps for matching skilled people with jobs. 
  • Conducting short-duration skilling programs to prepare aspirants.

Outcomes

  • About 7200 youth are provided gainful employment to ensure financial stability.
  • Collected data on manpower through digital employment exchange 
  • Connected data of human resources with the industries for gainful employment.
  • Developed a repository of 9280 job aspirants and ensured successful registrations..
  • Organized counseling, meetings and training in virtual mode.
