Digitized Banking System 

Problem

  • Need for 24/7 services to cater banking needs & problems related to banking industry
  • Lack of focus on end to end online product availability.
  • Meeting customer expectations with continuous change and upgrade in banking technologies was a task.
  • Need for useful and affordable financial products and services that meet their needs and cater Financial inclusion objectives
  • Presence of three separate channels namely mobile Banking,Internet banking & UPI with different credentials.

Solution

  • Simplified the login process and provided the same credentials to login through web and mobile applications. 
  • Offered end to end online product like online account opening, term deposit opening , EMI payments, fund transfer etc
  • Upgraded UI/UX interface which facilitates customer seamless journey and timely update to cater Banking needs
  • Offers end to end enrollment of government schemes and allow access of banking to each and every person 
  • Provision of theme depending on the festive season and regulatory requirements.

Outcomes

  • Fastest Growing PSU Bank in Mid Size segment with latest technological advancement
  • Enabled Punjab & Sind Bank users to register themselves and start their digital banking experience at their ease. 
  • Non-PSB users can also use this app as standalone UPI customers.
  • New customers can use this option to open an Aadhaar OTP based account with the bank.
  • Users can set a VPA- virtual payment address and get a virtual card instantly.
