- Devastating floods in the district in 2021 affected more than 10 lakh people.
- Need of rescue operation and safe place of shelter.
- Lack of food, drinking water and medical facilities.
- Need for household articles and livestock protection.
Achievements
- Setup up a community kitchen to facilitate dry & cooked foods along with drinking water.
- Formed a special team with 450 Life Jackets and 50 life buoy tubes.
- Made proper police arrangements to save the articles.
- Setup of 24X7 Control room along with inter-departmental coordination to provide all facilities.
