Enhancing Chenchu Tribes’ Quality of Life

  • Distress among Chenchu tribes was a growing concern.
  • Anemic and malnutrition conditions of people in tribal areas.
  • Social stigma and exclusion associated with the tribal groups. 
  • Lack of opportunities, accessibility and lack of awareness of government programmes.

Achievements

  • Creating durable assets by enhancing the agricultural land, especially FRA lands in tribal areas
  • Converting Chenchu labor into agriculture farmers
  • Addressing cases of extreme poverty, hunger and starvation and generating employment opportunities.
  • Planned to arrest distress migration among Chenchu.
