- Patients attending different PHC’s and CHC’s had to travel long distance to district hospitals for higher level services.
- It is costly, time consuming and yet not assuring the quality of the result.
- Non availability of fund, HR and logistics was the major challenges during the implementation.
- To prepare new team for engaging this project.
Achievements
- People can opt for even high grade tests without having to travel far away from home.
- Standard lab tests are being performed at the labs in family health centres.
- System will help to reduce out of pocket expenditure .
- As their labs are doing internal and external quality control, the quality of result are also ensured.
