KSRTC Employee Welfare SchemeĀ 

Nomination

  • KSRTC has around 35,000 employees; hence, the need for a Human Resource Management System (HRMS) is the need of the hour.
  • Lack of accident relief Insurance scheme for employees to provide financial stability to the dependents of deceased/ handicapped employees.
  • Disparity in payment of salary to employees at the beginning of the month.
  • The encashment facility could not be extended to employees during 2019-20 and 2020-21 on account of Financial difficulties due to COVID.

Achievements

  • Introduced Rs.1 core Accident Insurance Relief scheme, which covers on-duty and off-duty accidents.
  • Introduced Vidya Chethana Scholarship scheme for children of employees and Officers to cover various professional and other higher studies.
  • The corporation bears boarding and lodging expenses of the injured crew and his attendant till discharge from the hospital.
  • Constituted  a committee to bring uniformity in providing alternative post/light duty and to respond to grievances in a proper manner,
