- Citizen grievances like roads, street lights, potable water, cleaning, etc. were a major concern
- UP government portal IGRS was receiving around 3500 complaints per month from citizens in the district.
- People have a lot of trust deficit in the government.
- Government officers and all employees have the mindset that citizens’ grievances are a never-ending
Achievements
- Organised Jan Chaupals in the villages and media grievance cell kept a watch over all complaints related to social media
- Department-wise helpline numbers were issued for the redressal of complaints, and review meetings are organized from time to time.
- Sent officers and employees to every village to solve the problems of the citizens of the district
- Janta Darshan is organized daily at the district headquarters to solve the citizens’ complaints.
