There was limited access to libraries and educational resources at the village level.
Rural areas faced inadequate sports and fitness infrastructure.
The district lacked common platforms designed for youth interaction and skill development.
Existing public buildings and government assets were experiencing underutilization.
There were limited opportunities for young people to engage constructively after their regular school and college hours were over.

Achieved 100% Gram Panchayat coverage by establishing 111 Youth Resource Centres, ensuring equitable access to learning, sports, and fitness.
Successfully transformed underutilised and vacant government buildings into vibrant community assets.
Increased access to books, newspapers, competitive examination materials, and career guidance resources at the village level through libraries and reading spaces.
Created safe, constructive spaces after school/college hours that promoted physical fitness, sports participation, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and leadership.
Mobilised Gram Panchayats, youth groups, community volunteers, and local institutions to actively participate in the management and utilisation of the centres.
