ONE TAP KPI” An E-Governance Chatbot

Citizens living in remote and hilly areas faced major obstacles accessing services due to manual, fragmented processes that required repeated office visits and long travel distances.
The district administration faced significant difficulties due to the complex terrain, highly remote villages, and limited local infrastructure.
Poor road connectivity and long travel distances forced many tribal and hilly area residents to rely on intermediaries for forms, schemes, certificates, and accessing emergency contacts.
Important services and eligibility details were scattered across departments without standardized procedures, causing delays, confusion, and a heightened risk of misinformation or malpractice by village authorities.
Grievance redressal and disaster reporting were slow and unstructured, while offices struggled heavily with high physical footfall and repetitive routine queries.

The District Administration of Kangpokpi achieved real-time monitoring capabilities and quick response mechanisms for disaster management.
The initiative resulted in faster, transparent, and strictly time-bound delivery of various social and welfare services.
Citizens gained easy and universal access to critical information about essential public utilities and emergency services.
Implementing a technology-enabled service delivery system successfully reduced the physical burden on the administration while increasing overall operational efficiency and transparency.
The chatbot enhanced communication between the administration and the public by connecting citizens directly with multiple departments simultaneously.
