- Increasing road fatalities due to absence of uniform safe public transport and increase in private vehicles.
- Need of augmenting the existing fleet and degraded public transport in the state.
Achievements
- The e-buses have zero emission and are soundless, thus minimizing the air pollution and sound pollution in urban areas.
- Shift from private mode to public mode of transport.
- The electric bus system is safer, techno friendly and comfortable which makes them most reliable and safer mode to commute.
- The e-bus system will decrease the dependency on fossil fuel and contribute to make environment greener.
