Establishment of Post-harvest Infrastructure

Achievements

  • Direct purchase and marketing of produce in the project area.
  • Direct income enhancement of Rs. 20,000 per acre in the case of kinnow and Rs. 38,000 per acre in the case of potato.
  • Reduction in post-harvest losses and improvement in quality of produce in the horticulture clusters.
  • Increase in area, production and productivity by the adoption of modern technologies.
