- The land reserved for the stadium was earlier transferred to the Sports Department.
- There was no facility available in the stadium for players playing badminton and lawn tennis.
- Lack of awareness regarding badminton and lawn tennis among area residents.
- Past neglect and staff shortage pose challenges for Bulandshahr Development Authority in this work.
Achievements
- Conducted Awareness campaign in main city schools to promote badminton and lawn tennis among children.
- Authority’s sports promotion campaign success led to Infrastructure Board’s approval of the budget for the work.
- Authority embraced the challenge, obtained structural drawings, sought guidance, and successfully completed the work with specifications.
- Separate toilets, changing rooms for men and women players, and offices/stores for staff are arranged in the indoor badminton court.
