- The suffering of animals increased economic loss to the farmers in terms of decreased milk yield.
- Unnecessary and wrong medication leads to antibiotic resistance in the animal.
- Need for feed and water analysis to supply safe input to the animals
- Need for disease control strategies.
Achievements
- Selected constituency as a point of contact for the laboratory diagnosis
- Specimens collected by AH Assistant in RBK, AVH to CADDL are minimized for accurate diagnosis
- Availed diagnostic tests within the farmer’s reach viz., Blood exam, feces etc.
- Tests could be performed on par with human disease diagnosis using the latest diagnostic techniques.
