  1. This is truly one of the best technology base schem which pioneer in India. It can make revolutionary change In agricultural insurance sector

  2. Technological advancement is the key to attain sustainability. This flagship scheme of the Govt. of West Bengal is proudly the pioneer in this arena, with the vision of universalization by bringing every farmer under the coverage and providing timely and precise claim settlement to those in distress.

  3. It is the best crop insurance scheme till now due to the following reasons-
    1.Quick claim settlment within 45 days
    2.Accurate loss estimation by 100 % technology intervention.
    3.Totally funded by GoWB, Farmers don’t pay any premium.
    4.No chance of moral hazard due to no manual interference in claim calculation.
    5.It can be a benchmark in future for upliftment of farming community.

  4. BSBS is one of the flagship Scheme running under Government of West Bengal leading to farmer to meet the hazard of crop losses and reduce the impact of the climate change.

    This insurance scheme is completely irrelevant to the tendency of farmers to commit suicide due to crop failure and non-payment of agricultural lance.

  8. Very useful and successful scheme for farmers. Farmers’ share of premium is given by the state Govt. so implementation of the scheme is very easy and farmers get benefit without any problem as they need not to contact with insurance agency for their claim.

  9. State sponsored Sashya bima act as a sanjibani buti to state farmer where farmers have zero contribution in EMIs for most of the important crops

  10. BSB scheme reached 90% of the marginal farmers of Mohanpur and Dantan2 Block in the district of Paschim Medinipur. It helps farmers to get their Field Crops Insured and get financial assistance in the event of Crop Loss due to Natural Calamity like hailstorm, thunderstorm, flood, famine, etc. This Financial Support Scheme helps the farmer to minimise the burden of Financial Loss which is further becomes remunerative for the affected farmers to carry out Agricultural activities in the next season. The entire premium is being paid by Agricultre Department under Govt. of West Bengal. This scheme gradually becomes popular making a great differnce to improve the socio-economic condition of the farmers.

  11. It’s a really a very innovative approach . The way the the identification of Farmers don in a phased manner and how the entire process got automated is really comandabale.

    As a banker I like the process of disbursement. We will love to know more on this. Give a chance I will be eager to know more on this.

  14. ‘BANGLA SHASYA BIMA’ IS THE MOST HELPFUL PROJECT OF THE ALL FARMERS. 90% FARMERS FOR MOHANPUR BLOCK DIST PASCHIM MEDINIPUR UNDER THE SCHEME. IT FINANCIAL HELP FOR ALL FARMERS. THE ALL PREMIUM PAID BY AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT OF WEST BENGAL GOVERNMENT.

  15. To give a shield to the farmers of West Bengal from the unforeseen attacks of natural calamities department of Agriculture implements this application by giving financial assistance from loss through the umbrella of agricultural insurance.

  17. प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना किसानों के लिए एक लाभदायक योजना है किसका किसानों को बहुत लाभ पहुंचता है अगर उनका मौसम द्वारा कोई भी फसल को क्षति पहुंचती है तो उनके नुकसान की भरपाई इंश्योरेंस कंपनी करती है।

  18. प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना एक बहुत अच्छी योजना है इसमें मौसम द्वारा फसल को कोई भी क्षति पहुंचने पर उसकी भरपाई की जाती है किसानों को इसका बहुत लाभ पहुंचता है इसलिए मेरा सभी किसान भाइयों से अनुरोध है कि इस योजना में बढ़-चढ़कर भाग ले।

  19. That was a excellent scheme launched by Govt of West Bengal. Most of farmers of west bengal were benefited from BSB scheme. I am so proud because i was also a part of scheme from insurer site.

The initiative taken by the Government regarding implementation of technology based Bangla Shasya Bima Scheme to cover around 72 lakh farmer families will help immense to the agrarian society in Bengal specially during the pandemic environment. I hope during the Kharif 2021 all farmers will be covered under crop insurance scheme.
