Water Harvesting & Recharge SystemÂ

- The district is a dry area without sufficient water.
- Surface runoff flows as a result of excess rainwater and storm water
- Huge volume of water is wasted without storage.
- Problem of water contamination due to garbage.
Achievements
- Recharged defunct wells with the surface runoff water through conventional filter medium.
- Excavated well and perforated horizontal and vertical pipes around the well to collect and filter surface water.
- Beautification and protection of recharge wells to avoid dumping of wastes.
- Filtering water by sand filter method for direct collection into the recharge structure.
