Problem
- Challenges in the adoption of digital transformation in industries due to skill gaps and capabilities in digital technologies.
- Awareness and implementation challenges in Industry 4.0 in MSMEs and industries.
- Limited Mentoring available to start-ups on emerging technologies.
- Limited synergy between industry and academia due to skill gap between industry and academia.
- Limited innovation at grass root level and limited scaling of such innovation.
Solution
- Supporting Diversified Industry Growth by offering tailored resource and knowledge-sharing platforms.
- Identification of the partners for establishing the CoEs who have the capability and share a similar vision.
- Identification of the optimal tool in each of the CoEs for addressing the most vital problem.
- Evolution of a financially sound model to sustain the Centres.
- Ensuring Government Support to scale the offering of these centres across the state departments
Outcomes
- Created a hybrid engine casing model for Wattz Automobiles which enabled the firm to develop a new product.
- Design Optimisation on dropot sprayer model which enhanced efficiency of operation and reduction of cost.
- CFD Simulation of an electrostatic precipitator of Unicorn Engineers, Coimbatore experienced pressure drop.
- Created VR-based modules and conducted campaigns created for social awareness campaigns for the state.
- Deployed Artificial Intelligence-based Passenger Car Unit calculation at multiple points across the state.
