- A lot of human intervention for the physical verification of applicants, document verification and approvals.
- Repetitive documentation for scrutiny or migration to a higher entitlement scheme or slab.
- Delivery gaps, payment leakages and scope of corruption.
Achievements
- Eliminated the need for physical application/documentation
- Developed a digitalized Social Registry, i.e., Janaadhar, which suggests all the eligible schemes to a family/beneficiary.
- Bills are automatically processed through a centralized payment system and DBT is done in the Bank A/C of the beneficiary.
- Different portals viz. Janaadhar, Pehchan Portal, NFSA, NSAP, etc., work in synergy with the redesigned portal.
