Adolescent girls in KGBVs felt unsafe, hesitant, or unable to report harassment or emotional distress.
Girls lacked awareness of personal safety, cyber hygiene, and legal rights under POCSO and related laws.
Child marriage, trafficking, and abuse risks existed due to low reporting and limited guidance.
Women in public spaces hesitated to report harassment due to stigma and fear of approaching police.
Lack of trust, confidence, and communication channels between young girls/women and police.

Girls began openly sharing academic, emotional, and personal challenges, indicating improved trust and reduced fear.
Counseling and follow-up helped address anxiety, peer pressure, and early-age vulnerabilities.
Increased awareness of safety laws and life skills improved confidence and decision-making.
Monthly presence of Police Akka reduced unreported grievances and enhanced school safety.
Public outreach strengthened women’s confidence to seek help during patrolling and Dial-100 interventions.
