MANDI App (An End-to-End solution within APMC Yard)
Problem
- Manual transaction entries led to delays and inconsistencies in mandi operations.
- Traders and farmers faced long settlement times and a lack of payment transparency.
- Absence of digital workflows hampered monitoring and audit capabilities.
- Dependency on physical infrastructure made mandis inefficient and vulnerable to disruptions.
Solution
- Developed and implemented a unified eMANDI App across 259 mandis and 303 sub-mandis.
- Enabled real-time transaction entry, permit generation, and automated payment systems.
- Integrated audit trails and dashboards for better governance and MIS tracking.
- Provided digital training to mandi officials, traders, and farmers to ease adoption.
Outcomes
- Improved efficiency and speed of agri-transactions across the state’s mandi network.
- Farmers received faster payments with reduced dependency on intermediaries.
- Mandis became more accountable with traceable, digital workflows and reports.
- System gained recognition as a model for replicable digital mandi governance in India.
