Jio’s OSS/BSS stack is critical in digital transformation, enabling network operators to manage operations and customer relationships more efficiently and effectively. 

Problem

It is a journey of creating a next-gen platform that enables digital transformation for the modern communications network and challenges. Creating a system that allowed for innovative service provision and offered robust and adaptive monetisation avenues was a significant hurdle. Handling the exponential growth in subscribers, ensuring system scalability to meet real-time demands, and providing diverse service offerings posed operational challenges. 

Solution

JPL adopted a holistic cloud-native approach, ensuring automation, scalability and full API compliance across systems and integrated 5G network. Leveraging internal teams and external collaborations, they dive deep into understanding the technologies, methodologies, or strategies that can address identified needs. Cross-functional teams convene in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative solutions. 

Outcome

Post-implementation surveys revealed higher customer satisfaction levels. Feedback mechanisms helped them identify pain points, and subsequent refinements increased net promoter Scores. JPL can rapidly scale its infrastructure up or down based on demand by adopting a cloud-native architecture from the outset. This flexibility ensures that resources are never wasted, and the organisation remains agile in response to market dynamics.
