Plastic to Fuel Conversion Plant

  • Indiscriminate disposal of plastics on land 
  • Open-air burning leads to releasing toxic chemicals into the air causing public health hazards.
  • It is tough to find an alternative to plastic.
  • Need for the development and implementation of waste plastics recycling.

Achievements

  • The obtained fuel could be used in diesel generators, tractors, and passenger vehicles such as cars.
  • Produces the fuel locally at much cheaper rates, benefiting the National economy.
  • Creates an output of 250 liters of diesel and kerosene, along with 25 to 30 liters of petrol and 100 to 120 kg of char.
  • No effluents are released in the process so there is no air or water pollution.
