Healthcare exclusion persisted in border and remote areas of District Poonch due to difficult terrain, poor connectivity, and security sensitivities.
Several cross-border villages lacked internet connectivity, leading to missed AB PMJAY coverage and exclusion of eligible beneficiaries.
Senior citizens faced low awareness, documentation barriers, and non-conversion under the Vay Vandana component of AB PMJAY.
Aadhaar-related issues such as locking, incorrect deactivation, and data mismatches resulted in denial or delay of health benefits.
During the Indo–Pak conflict period of 2025, continuity of healthcare services and scheme operations faced serious operational risks.

Achieved one hundred percent family coverage across District Poonch under AB PMJAY.
Reached ninety-two percent individual coverage and successfully converted nine thousand Vay Vandana cards for senior citizens.
Extended scheme benefits to remote and cross-border villages with no internet connectivity through offline strategies.
Maintained uninterrupted healthcare services, hospital operations, and claim processing during the Indo–Pak conflict period of 2025.
Strengthened beneficiary trust, district-level systems, and established a replicable model for crisis-resilient AB PMJAY implementation.
