Energy Conservation by Solar Water Heating System

  • The system performance was dependent on the climate.
  • Dependency on non-renewable resources which are not going to last due to their limited availability.
  • Burning of fuel was detrimental to the environment. 

Achievements

  • Installation of Solar Water Heating Systems of various capacities (i.e. from 500 LPD to 2500LPD) 
  • GEDA has covered more than 540 hostel buildings of various categories
  • The system holds a capacity of 1982500 liters 
  • The system can generate approx. 13.87 million units of electricity on an annual basis.
