MSME Health Clinic

Many MSMEs in Jammu & Kashmir were experiencing financial distress due to lack of affordable and timely credit options.
Technological obsolescence and outdated machinery reduced productivity and competitiveness across industrial sectors.
Weak market connectivity and limited access to larger supply chains constrained business growth.
Shortage of skilled manpower and lack of structured capacity-building initiatives hampered efficiency.
Absence of a centralized mechanism to diagnose and prevent business distress led to closure of viable enterprises.
Development of an early warning system becomes essential which uses cutting-edge technologies such as AI and Machine Learning algorithms that read the data from heterogeneous data sources and proactively generate automated Alerts for impending sick units based upon their financial and operational indicators.

Till date around 200 MSMEs have got registered in J&K MSME Health clinic portal and receiving diagnostic and revival support.
All the Udyam registered MSMEs in Jammu and Kashmir (around 7 lacs) are intended to be brought under the ambit of J&K MSME Heath Clinic portal.
The integrated data is being exploited by AI and ML to categorize the units as “Stable,” “Recoverable,” or “Prone to Sick” based upon their health indicators.
Created a robust institutional partnership linking industry, academia, and government for policy-driven decision-making.
Enabled proactive identification of stressed enterprises, preventing business closures and sustaining employment.
Set a national example of data-backed MSME governance through predictive analytics and continuous monitoring.
