Malaviya Mission on Teachers and Teaching (MMTTC)

Problem

  • Some skill related laboratories are not sufficient.
  • Skilled Manpower in some areas is also insufficient.
  • Quality Online & Virtual Labs is a challenge in some specific skill courses.
  • Job Market in the local area as some of the students are not willing to go far away places
  • Salary package is low in some cases there by people not taking offer letters for low salaried jobs.

Solution

  • Resistance from faculty to move out for trainings were addressed effectively through motivation.
  • Incentivized faculty with the award of Career Advancement Scheme after these trainings.
  • Training is arranged on Domain specific subjects on new knowledge, innovative pedagogy etc.
  • About 300 KRPs were trained and mandated to train 4300 faculty.
  • It included both synchronous and asynchronous on a blended mode so as to engage the original people of eminence.

Outcomes

  • High motivation among faculty and students to pursue for the growth and development.
  • 100 % quality internships with Industry connect both offline and online.
  • Outcome based Collaborations with Institute of Eminence (IoEs) like JNU, EFLU & Industry Partners.
  • Industry linkage for both physical as well as virtual Internships
  • 100 % placements with a median salary package of Rs.3500 pm for a general education students.
