- A lot of time is taken to reach the site of ailing animals and to serve the animals in inaccessible areas.
- Treatment of animals by unauthorized quacks at the village level.
- Lack of monitoring on early detection, diagnosis and control of contagious diseases.
Achievements
- Farmer’s satisfaction level with livestock service delivery has improved to 87%.
- Reduced human labor spent on livestock for bringing the animal from far away places to the veterinary Institution.
- Provided expert veterinary care at the earliest possible time, especially in emergency cases in remote areas.
- Cases Treated: 2,40,834; No. of Trips: 81,177; Cases Treated: 1,16,478; Farmers Benefitted: 87,932
