    among peoples regarding to save planet, plant more number of trees, water conservation activities, reduce pollution, save electricity and produce electricity from renewable energy sources. Fabulous work is going by Government of Maharastra

  4. Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan is engaging all cities of Maharashtra state for betterment of environment. It is more important as half of population is residing in urban area. I am very glad as i am part of this revolution. I am very thankful to the urban development department of state of Maharashtra. Many government schemes come and go but Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan will be make changes.

Majhi Vasundhara’ is an unique mitigation and adaptation initiative of the Government of Maharashtra’s Environment and Climate Change Department to build resilience and empower citizens with knowledge on the impacts of climate change and environmental issues and to encourage them to make a conscious effort towards improvement of the environment.     Majhi Vasundhara plays a pivotal role in supporting the state to achieve its climate goals, as it spans across multiple sectors, regions, and stakeholders in Maharashtra.
    Majhivasundhara is a initative with a great replication potential at the national level.

  8. Phase number one and two resulted in a large increase in the number of trees of Indian species as well as an increase in water storage. Cleanliness campaigns were started in the villages.
    Preservation and conservation of five elements of nature started.

  9. 1. The Environment and Climate Change Department, Govt. of Maharashtra has taken up a holistic initiative, “MVA3.0” to make citizen aware of the impacts of climate change and environmental issues and to encourage them to make a conscious effort towards the improvement of the environment.
    2. Mainly focus on Climate change issues, Tree plantation, Rejuvenation and beautification of water bodies/river, RWH, Percolation Pits, Creation of Nursery, Created newly Green Areas and Tree censes, SWM, SUP, Awareness events organized to promote Renewable energy source and take E-pledge By Individuals/groups and compliance of E-pledge etc.

  12. To make schemes and policies effective, it is important that they are socially desirable, technologically feasible, financially viable, and administratively doable. I think the Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan has addressed these critical pillars which is why it is effective and which is why we notice the results that were presented above.

Majhi Vasundhara having 5 thematics . They are working on Air , Jal , tree plantation , biodiversity mainly effects on environment and climate changes.
