  1. Covid pandemic posed many a challange before the Government. One of the major challenges was to ensure that old age pensioners who are highly susceptible to the covid-19 get their retirement benefits without having to visit physically to the treasury. The steps taken by Finance Department such as video based submission of life certificate, evoucher, etc ensured that pensioners, citizens, and government employees can avail government services and get their entitlements hassle free and seamlessly. So the measures taken by the Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection, Finance Department are laudable and worthy of appreciation, getting recognition at the highest level.

IFMS is a digital platform which provides seamless, paperless and very innovative service to all it’s stake holders like government servants, pensioners, deposit of challan and tax, budgeting and accounting etc. It has systematically reduced the work pressure and make it more hassle free,error free and more importantly time saving tools. It’s glaring example of e-governance.
