  1. I personally know how hectic it was in J&K. Family Welfare MCh & Immunization department has done a gigantic task with all possible efforts. Health Workers were also threatened by arrogant beneficiaries, become infected and even some broke their foots during house to house visits in difficult hilly terrains. It was a great effort and Department has completed the task successfully. I wish them best of luck.

  2. Front Line Workers Like Health Care workers worked really very Hard to reach to Nomadic, Migrant Workers, Refusal Populations, and maintenance of vaccine potency was done really greatly and Handled properly by DGFW JK

  3. “Bench Mark” standards were set up to tackle two major issues of any new vaccine
    1) vaccine hesitancy
    2) vaccine delivery to the end user in remotest corner of the UT “Maintaning cold chain”.
A way forward was demonstrated by DG family welfare, MCH & Immunization.

  7. It was a humongous task. Being a part remained active participant in its accomplishment. We informed, trained and delivered this program upto last house in every nook and corner of J&K. No one should left behind was the slogan. This was possible only under the able leadership of our HoD. Though it was a collective effort but emotional and psychological support extended the department through top leadership in this time of Pandemic was marvellous. We all were drained physically while accomplishing this task of vaccinating 1 crore scattered population but psychologicall support from the top bosses donot let us to step back. Otherwise one can imagine none while risking his life walk on the foot through the jungles of J&K to vaccinate only single digit beneficiaries. We have done this and support extended by the department was one of the keystones which did not let us fall back.
    Best of luck…
