its a variety specially required for coastal Delta areas of South 24 Parganas, & Nort 24 Parganas along with coastal areas of Purba Medinipur district which are vulnerable to saline water ingress and prone to cyclonc disaster in premonsoon season and even ealy monsoon to mitigate salinity problem in soil.
Good initiative for cyclone affected area like Sundarban.
