DERC is top most Electricity Regulatory Commission in the country and known as following worldwise innovative techniques in economic way with promoting environmental development in field of Electricity .
Excellent regulations by DERC and follow up orders has ensured quality and uninterrupted power in the National Capital of Delhi. Having lived in Delhi since 1982 onwards, I am a witness to the gradual change from hours of load shedding to uncaring response by erstwhile DESU and DVB in providing remedy to customer complaints. There was a time that every household catered for kerosene lanterns and paraffin lamps to the present day state of things where these alternate lighting arrangements have been relegated to antiquity.
