Nalgonda’s pilot project on Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP) has encouraged innovation in the sanitation sector. A unique faecal sludge treatment plant system has been commissioned in Nalgonda town that uses E Cell Reactors and Installation of advanced BIO REMEDIAL SYSTEM employing IMMOBILIZED MICROBES MEDIA to process faecal sludge, where 95% -97% of COD is removed, leaving Zero Sludge and turns it into 90% of reusable treated water for the irrigation and plantation purpose.
