Need to strengthen technical, professional and entrepreneurial skills among students, faculty, farmers and other agricultural stakeholders.
Need for stronger digital infrastructure and e-governance systems to improve academic, research and administrative efficiency.
Limited mechanisms for promoting agricultural innovation, technology transfer, entrepreneurship and commercialisation of university-developed technologies.
Need for advanced farm mechanisation and precision technologies to improve productivity and reduce dependence on agricultural labor.
Limited infrastructure, manpower and financial resources for expanding teaching, research and extension activities after Andhra Pradesh’s bifurcation.

Established two Agricultural Colleges, introduced AI-driven courses, implemented the Sixth Deans’ Committee recommendations and strengthened student-oriented academic initiatives.
Strengthened crop improvement and seed production, releasing superior crop varieties and registering valuable germplasm for agricultural development.
Advanced farm mechanisation and technology commercialisation through initiatives including farm machinery, incubation facilities and the Drone Training Centre.
Expanded frontline extension, ICT-enabled agriculture, FPO promotion, processing and value-addition facilities and distance-learning certificate programmes.
Empowering farmers, rural women and youth while strengthening research impact, ANGRAU developed 511 crop varieties and secured 14 patents during the reported period.
