Problem

• For the construction in remote areas, the contractors do not show interest in participating in tenders.
• Acquiring lands in the city limits for the construction process
• Completion of the project within the target time period
• The usage of paper and documentation works is increasing drastically which results from difficulty in storage
• Deliver Quality Construction to the user at Minimum cost and time overrun

Solution

• Coordinating and repeatedly following up with all the other relevant departments to identify and acquire suitable lands within or near the city limit
• Administrative sanction, financial sanction and technical sanction. 
• Call for Tenders Application submitted to DTCP / CMDA for approval
• Work Order issued & Agreement Executed Taken over from the user department
• Work commenced and work in progress and Work completed and handed over to the user department

Outcomes

• Constructed 54063 police quarters to date out of which 2808 in the past two years. 
• Constructed 1001 police Stations to date out of which 32 in the past two years. 
• Constructed 1325 Offices Armed Reserve Complexes and special police buildings to date. 
• Constructed 1498 Fire quarters and 57 Fire stations to date. 
• Constructed 1512 Prison quarters and 16 Prison buildings to date.
