Problem
- For the construction in remote areas, the contractors do not show interest in participating in tenders.
- Acquiring lands in the city limits for the construction process
- Completion of the project within the target time period
- The usage of paper and documentation works is increasing drastically which results from difficulty in storage
- Deliver Quality Construction to the user at Minimum cost and time overrun
Solution
- Coordinating and repeatedly following up with all the other relevant departments to identify and acquire suitable lands within or near the city limit
- Administrative sanction, financial sanction and technical sanction.
- Call for Tenders Application submitted to DTCP / CMDA for approval
- Work Order issued & Agreement Executed Taken over from the user department
- Work commenced and work in progress and Work completed and handed over to the user department
Outcomes
- Constructed 54063 police quarters to date out of which 2808 in the past two years.
- Constructed 1001 police Stations to date out of which 32 in the past two years.
- Constructed 1325 Offices Armed Reserve Complexes and special police buildings to date.
- Constructed 1498 Fire quarters and 57 Fire stations to date.
- Constructed 1512 Prison quarters and 16 Prison buildings to date.
