Nomination

  • Lack of health awareness among the citizens/workers residing in the urban bodies of the state, especially in the slum areas
  • Local citizens do not remain sensitive to the diseases, due to which many types of seasonal and other diseases spread in these settlements. 
  • Long queues in the hospital to take the citizens or children dependent on them to the hospital due to which labourers are not able to go to work on that day. 
  • Frequent visits to the hospital due to minor ailments put unnecessary pressure on the hospitals and health infrastructure.

Achievements

  • All 04 MMU’s of Durg City is scheduled in Slum areas so that the regularity of the medicine which is prescribed to patients must be in continuation.
  • Each Mobile medical Unit (MMU) organized health camps at every ward/slums and other vulnerable population area for at least 24 days in month. 
  • The Duration of the camps is for at least 7 hours between (08 AM to 03 PM) and camp Plan of each MMU is scheduled for 90 days prior.
  • Due to the facility being available near the residence, the workers/citizens of the slum areas will be able to get its knowledge easily.
