Digital Inclusion in Education

- The problem of poor attendance in colleges across the state

- The non-availability of recorded videos for further reference to students
- Lack of support from teachers to clarify doubts and poor feedback mechanism.
- Lack of trained faculty to cater to the needs of new knowledge and skill courses.
Solution
- Introduced TLP APP to enable disruptive technologies to reach students with more IT-enabled services.
- All the classes are monitored from ground level to HOD level
- All the classes are recorded and available to students for their further listening and watching
- Students can send their queries and give their feedback so that teachers can respond through their discussion forums
- Introduced flipped method of classrooms using Edpuzzle and Nearpod, which helps students to understand the lessons in a better way
Outcomes
- The target of 100% attendance is achieved, and 100% of classes are now recorded and made available to students on a 24X7 basis.
- Faculty and students are now enjoying much as they can readily access their profiles.
- Profiles can be documented for assessment, CAS, and NAAC assessment purposes.
- Trained 4300 faculty members and provision of continuous support from HOD level
- Students can connect to expert lecturers delivered by faculty anywhere in the state.
