Problem
- West Bengal faced countless challenges related to Coronavirus
- Large-scale devastation caused by cyclone Yash & Amphan
- WBSIDCL was entrusted with setting up 02 nos. of commercial courts at six church lane Kolkata -01.
- WBSIDCL was entrusted with the supply of utensils for integrated child development services projects in different districts.
- Non-availability of human resources and transportation facilities
Solution
- Facilitated COVID and quarantine centres at different Government Hospitals.
- Supplied Three Bucket Trolleys, Biomedical Waste Bins & Bags as per demand.
- Supplied Modern Labour Table at different RH/BPHC as advised by the Directorate of Health Services.
- Set up the COVID Centre and 02 nos. of commercial courts etc.
- Manufacturing of hand sanitiser, floor disinfectant kit, cot, and bedding items to fulfil demand.
Outcomes
- People affected by Covid, Cyclone Yash & Amphan, got huge relief.
- Successfully supplied more than 3500 pieces at different places as earmarked by the government.
- Successfully supplied 17,91,855 litres of hand sanitiser
- Supplied 5,30,680,93 pcs. soap in connection with Mid-Day Meal Project WBSIDCL
- Successfully supplied 15000 nos. of disaster management Kit
