  1. This is another sincere effort by MNP, Gujarat Forest department for the conservation of the highly threatened corals and coral reefs. Largest in India and probably in the world as well. Kudos to the Forest Department.

Great initiative of MNP, Gujarat for restoration of marine life from restoration of coral reef which provides shelter and food to numerous marine organisms after successful restoration of mangroves in coastal area of Gulf of Kutch. I remember before 20 year, almost no mangroves weer in Gomati cewek, Dwarka but now plenty of mangroves.
    Now focus on restoration of corals.

  5. This project is definitely going to restore our coral life in. The Marine National Park &Sanctuary authority has been taken number of intervention for the conservation of kutch coral reefs. Coral transplantation is the technique used for restoring the damaged coral reef area by taking small coral fragments from donor coral reef areas and implementing them at the damaged best coral reefs.

  10. Humongous effort on the part of IOCL in carrying out coral translocation from to be affected area to safe location. This job executed by IOCL in collaboration with ZSI and able guidance of Forest Dept, Jamnagar. One of its kind effort in such a huge scale.
