  1. Excellent works done by pwd and its employees during covid 19. Coordinated many workers outside the UP to get foods and come back to their own place. Also provided food by establishing community kitchen at different cities in U.P.

    1. Public works department Mirzapur established community kitchen during covid 19 and distributed food packets in urban and rural areas. And dry packets of Rice.salts.soap.vegetables oil etc.were distrbuted to needy person of rural and urban areas.

  4. Great work by UPPWD employe, unparallel in d history of PWD. Provided food to labors, Daily bread earners and unemployed people with full enthusiasm and great heart. Whole credit goes to our Motivator, Head of our office. We will again unite to fight any calamity if challenges are thrown at our end. Together we are High spirited Humanist and always successful to meet any adversarties.

  5. UP PWD have done a great job, specially quality kitchen work.providing ready meals and also raw food for thousands of people and also by maintenance work of roads ,easing the transportation of ambulances and all medical and police vehicles .

  6. It was a great initiative of PWD specially the principal secretary Mr Nitin Ramesh gokarn and the deputy Chief minister. they extended their Full support to the migrant workers and it was the fabulous job and both these people deserve lot of appreciation

PWD was standing together with Corona warriors . there community kitchen was very helpful to the person who were really needed for food.PWD realy contribute there best efforts during covid 19.

Also PWD assisted thousands of people reaching their homes safely from distant places. By way of early initiative to start the halted projects and taking up MNREGA works on large scale PWD is doing yeoman’s service in providing employment during the crisis time.

  36. During unforseen COVID pandemic UPPWD was on job in different ways…….
    1. Ensured reaching of people from different states coming by trains to reach their destination by providing help day n night to different district administrations.
    2. Provided food through community kitchen in all districts of state. Also reached to the places where it was required most with the help of different NGOs n public representatives.
    3. Provided job through MNREGA to the needy labour coming from different states n places.
    4. In a few districts prepared COVID wards for patients suffering from the disease. Thus work was executed in highly infectious environment during lockdown period when no normal movement was permitted n it was extremely tough to get workers for the job.

  40. During COVID -19 Pandemic UPPWD Team did Splendid job under the directions of Hon.CM and guidance of Hon.Dy CM/UPPWD Minister by….
    1. Ensuring basic facilities like cleaning,disinfection, Hygienic food,potable water etc.at different Quarantine/Isolation Centres in different parts of District decided by District Administration for the people reaching from different states by road or trains before reaching to their destination.
    2. Prepared list of migrant labourers with their names, mobile numbers,name of home district/place coming from different Trains/Buses day& night and handed over to District Administration for keeping data at District and State Level.
    3. Provided Pure & Hygienic Cooked Food and Raw Food Materials through Community Kitchen run by UPPWD Employees in all districts of State to the Poor and needy people with the help of District Administration and Public Representative in the month of April and May 2020.
    4. Provided jobs through Departmental and MNREGA works to the needy local and migrant labourers coming to their homes from different states & places at the time when most of them have lost their jobs.
    5. Ensured basic necessary facilities at Institutional Quarantine Centres made for Doctors/Duty Staff deployed for treatment & controlling of Patients of Novel Corona Virus.
    Thus work was executed by UPPWD Team in extremely tough conditions and in an environment during lockdown period when people were fearing to come out of their homes due to Covid-19 Virus.

  95. Excellent work done by P. D. division PWD district gautambudh nagar under the guidance of EE Shri. Vimal Kumar ,during COVID period. All the government guidelines and tasks were carried out with full endeavour. Corona sealing exercises of the concern Areas, Community Kitchen for the needy and poor, Providing maximum Jobs to workers through MANREGA, and carrying out various other administrative duties.PD Division PWD Gautambudh Nagar under leadership of EE Vimal kumar has done excellent Job.

  98. Superlative work done by UPPWD during COVID pandemic in multifarious ways. Provided prepared food , raw food packets, helped needy to reach the shelter homes. Through departmental works of MANREGA and other works provided with job and means of earning. Contributed in repairing hospital accommodation and quarantine places when required. Also helped administration in performing COVID duties at crucial time & places.
