An amazing initiative , extremely helpful to students from different parts of the state . Proved to be really helpful during the pandemic.
“DISTAVO is an excellent initiative by the Director, Shri. Prasad Lolayenkar.IAS, Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Goa. The entire team of DISG+HTAVO, constituting of technical team and the Faculty members of all colleges in Goa, executed this venture, under the leadership of Shri. Prasad Lolayenkar. The vision and thought of the director, needs to be highly appreciated because this venture enabled learning of all higher education courses in higher education institutes in Goa, in the most effective manner. For each course, MOOCS 4 quadrant method was followed, and students had the opportunity of learning from lecture videos of all teachers across the colleges in Goa, besides learning from teachers of their college. The programme was free of cost and necessary internet support was provided by the Govt. of Goa. The DISTAVO project is one of a kind in the country and the Directorate of Higher Education-Govt. of Goa,needs to be appreciated for its visionary initiate.
